The closing date for applications is 5pm Monday 5th July 2010.
BVA AWF Discussion Forum
The annual BVA AWF Discussion Forum took place on Monday May 17th at the Royal College of Physicians, London. Each year the Forum brings together members of the veterinary profession, parliamentarians and key bodies associated with animal welfare to debate important welfare issues.
This year's programme included sessions entitled "Animal Welfare Act - is it working" and "Animal welfare priorities: you decide", a chance for delegates to vote to select issues that they would raise if they had an audience with a minister.
The summary of this year's event shows that it proved to be as thought-provoking and stimulating as in previous years.
The Forum was followed by a reception at the House of Commons, co-hosted by the BVA and kindly sponsored by Roger Williams Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate for Brecon & Radnorshire.
